--Basics--

1. Follow the orders of The Guild Mistress.
2. Attend guild events when possible.
3. Always assist guild members if possible.
4. Always seek assistance from guild first.
5. Always remember that you represent not only yourself, but the entire Empire.

*If you feel an officer is asking unreasonable requests please contact any other officer via in-game mail.

--Chat--

Guild Chat

No profanity or offensive language

*As we have members of many ages try to keep your language in guild chat clean. Making the officers deal with an angry parent is not a good way to make yourself liked.

* Special Situations may occur when profanity accents the wording and will be accepted. For example: A gnome warlock ganks me while I am collecting some Mountain Silversage. I might need to refer to that gnome as a little bearded bastard once or twice while I hunt him down for revenge.

Party

We will respect other party members and other guilds when partied with them. Our reputation preceeds us, and if anyone is found being mean without just cause aggressive measures will be taken. Which may result in demotion or removal from the guild entirely. Always be aware that you are not only representing yourself, but the entire Empire when you party.

Whisper

Open, but be respectful of the target's demeanor towards language, etc.

--Complaints--

Complaints about another guild member should be brought up with the member first. If that does not resolve the issue, then file a complaint to an Officer by in-game mail. Once that letter is sent, an officer will handle the issue, and you should pursue no further course, aside from asking the officer about the status of the complaint. You will be informed when the issue is resolved.

Complaints from outside the guild will be resolved by the officers over the individual in question. If someone is complaining to you about your actions, refer them to an officer and ask them to file a formal complaint via in-game mail. If the person persists, and refuses to follow the procedure for complaint filing, place them on your ignore list and tell them that they will be on the list until they follow the formal complaint procedure.

-- The Guild Bank --

Items in the guild bank are available to all guild members. Recruits must pay the current AH price for any item they request. All other members get the item for vendor costs, i.e. how much the guild would get selling the item to a vendor.

If a member is crafting something for another member then any materials requested are free. When you request the materials you must include the item you are crafting and/or enchanting, as well as the guildie you are crafting it for. These will randomly be checked for authentication.

Bank Miss-Use

If anyone is found to be miss-using the bank items for personal profit they will receive a warning, The second time they will be demoted, and will no longer be able to have access to the bank.

-Example-

Buy something from bank for 1 Gold, and re-list the item on the AH for 1g 1c. Bank Items are not for personal financial gain. They are there to assist members through leveling or making equipment for other guild members.

--Loot--

Loot is frequently the source of much unrest and disdain in guilds, this should clarify how various types of loot should be handled.

Bind on Equip (BoE) items that drop during a guild run. 5-man, 10-man, or 25-man.

Need before Greed

Any BoE patterns or crafting matterials that drop during a guild run are first offered to any member on the run that can use it. If no member of the current group can use it they are deposited in the guild bank. If more than one member needs it the item is rolled for. This includes patterns of any quality. Crafting materials that are rolled on, i.e. rare materials, are also rolled for if needed or deposited in the guild bank if not. Any material not being rolled on is kept by whomever loots it (duh.)

Any BoE gear that drops during a guild run is first offered to any member on the run that can use it. If no member of the current group can use it offer it to the guild. If no guild member can use it simply greed the item. For items of epic or superior quality check to see if the guild bank has any. If not deposit the item there. If it does do whatever you want with the item.

A guild run is any run composed entirely of guild members.

Bind on Pickup (BoP) items that drop during a 5 or 1--man guild run.

If there is an enchanter in the group pass on any BoP items you don't need. Enchanters will greed on said items. Any enchanting mats collected during guild runs should be deposited in the guild bank.

Need before Greed. If a member needs the item roll need, otherwise the item will be greeded.

Bind on Pickup (BoP) items that drop during a 25 man raid instance.

Primary/Secondary.
-Every raid reset period (1 week) each member gets one primary loot item and any number of secondary items.
-If more than one members chooses to use their primary on an item they roll for it. The winner gets the item (and uses their primary roll for the week) and the loser(s) can use their primary for another item they want.
-Who uses their primary roll and who wins secondary rolls is publically tracked on the website in the thread 25-Man Loot List.

System in action:
-Master looters will link items in raid chat and ask primary's to link the loot their replacing in officer chat.
-If there is more than one member who links for primary the names are read by the master looter.
-After 30s or so if no-one expresses any interest the loot master calls for secondary rolls. Any interested links the item they're replacing in officer chat.
-Each player is only allowed one secondary item per boss.
-Priority is given to those rolling main-spec for any item.
-Officers reserve the right to limit secondary rolls for someone who's won a lot of items that week.
-Officers reserve the right to restrict someone from rolling if the item is clearly a much better upgrade for other players.

-- Amangur Raid Rules --

First Rule: Have fun! This is a game and our primary goal is to have fun.
Second Rule: No drama! Drama kills fun. Remember that raiding is not about you, it's about the entire raid.

These rules are in place in an attempt to make raiding as fun as possible for those who enjoy it, to eliminate drama, and open up raiding to as many members as possible.

The Amangur Empire will never require you to spec a certain way to attend a raid. We do ask, however, that you spec to fill the role you sign up for. In other words, if you want to raid as a dps warrior that's fine. If you want to tank as a dps warrior you'll probably be asked to spec protection.

-- Slotting --

Raid slots are awarded on the basis of the raid's needs. We take into account what buffs/debuffs a player brings, what role they fulfill (tank, heals, ranged dps, melee dps, CC, interrupts, etc), and we keep WWS reports of 10 and 25 man raids so we can keep track of what players contribute.

We've setup basic minimum requirements for progression raids. These are based on numbers gleaned from experience, WWS, and informational websites such as elitistjerks. These numbers are for 25-man raids. We check WWS reports to see if players are capable of meeting (or preferrably exceding) the posted minimums. Meeting these minimus is NOT a guaruntee of a raid slot.

Obsidium Sanctum

DPS: 1,200 sustained dps shown in WWS.
Healing:
Tanking:
Tanks also need a WWS showing a non-hunter maintaining at least 1,200dps while they tanked. (Feign Death is cheating.)

Naxxramas

DPS: 1,400 sustained dps shown in WWS.
Healing
Tanking:
Tanks also need a WWS showing a non-hunter maintaining at least 1,400dps while they tanked. (Feign Death is still cheating.)

Malygos

DPS:
Healing:
Tanking:

Ulduar

DPS:

Progression Runs

Progression run slotting is up to the raid's leader. Any and all sign-ups are for availability only and do not guarantee a spot. Progression runs favor those who fullfill the 'main' requirements for the instance as we need every benefit possible while learning content.

Wanting a shot at "the purplz" is not a good reason to join a progression raid. You are less likely to get loot on a progression raid as sometimes no bosses are killed while learning content. Only join a progression raid if you enjoy the sometimes painful process of learning new content. Be prepared to cause wipes and forgive others for causing wipes.

Farming Runs

Farming run slotting is generally on a first come, first serve basis. This is assuming those who volunteer first will lead to a successful run. Anyone who wants to can start a farming run, but it's generally a good idea to bring at least one officer as master looting scapegoat.

Special consideration will be given to those who can only raid during the weekday or weekend. For example: D is on the waiting list but can only raid during the weekday raid. C is in the weekday raid but can raid on the weekend. D will be brought on the weekday raid and C will be guaranteed a slot on the weekend raid.

When signing up for a raid you can leave a note. Please indicate if you can only make a certain raid in this note so the officers know. Officers are not mind readers so please communicate things to us.

-- Damage Meters --

There are NO Damage Meters Allowed While Raiding these cause people to loose focus and try to out DPS one-another instead of using their heads for strategy.

WWS stats will be posted after a raid. We encourage you to use this tool to analyze your own performance and seek to improve yourself. If you're not certain what to make of your stats on the website ask your class lead and s/he will help you. Anyone who uses WWS to gloat, ridicule other members, or generally be a jerk will not be invited to raids until they grow up.
